From Park Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue:

A Presidential View of the Upper East Side

Ahead of Presidents Day, as a new president settles into Washington, FRIENDS takes a Presidential view of the Upper East Side. On this virtual tour of the neighborhood with Architectural Historian Matt Postal, we’ll discover the homes and haunts of past presidents and their families. From Grant and Cleveland, to Truman and Obama; from the Carlyle to the Park Avenue Armory, we’ll see where past presidents lived, and how their frequent visits to this neighborhood shaped the nation.
